Bad oven product

I am not happy with this oven I am on my 3rd oven just recently bought this oven. They all have failed with the same problem just all of a sudden the oven stops heating. The broiler works fine on high and low, but oven setting stops heating. On last oven changed out the oven heating unit and it worked for a while but ended up failing the same way, so I gave another chance bought a new oven same exact problem all of a sudden oven no longer heats. So now I am probably going to buy a different product because this is ridiculous

I am asking my appliance dealer to replace the unit. Problems with the unit igniting creating a loud boom noise, door latch does not appear to work as it should and the bottom storage drawer is out of alignment. It appears the entire unit was "racked" out of square during the installation. The service repair person noted the above items. I don't know if the GE unit is good or bad - THIS UNIT IS BAD and should be replaced by the dealer.

I have been looking for a gas wall oven for the last year and a half. Decided to check the GE appliance website and was fortunate enough to find the last one in stock. The oven arrived as promised just after the new year and was installed without a hitch. The oven is stainless steel in color and must I add that it looks really good, just as the website photos and description implied. Looking to enjoy this oven for many years to come.

Just installed this oven yesterday. Everytime we turn it on the oven pops real load and the door will open and shut. Not very sure if I am happy with this or not.

Although the oven is beautiful, it makes a loud buzzing noise. The installer has been out twice to look at it and replaced the fan motor. The loud buzzing noise continues and the repair man said it was the cheap construction of the oven and that perhaps it would settle down after use. So far no good. Very, very disappointing. What am I to do?

The first one I received was damaged. After a week of frustratin a second one was delivered and installed no additional cost and so far it is working well.

I had to replace the in wall oven with the same size we had previously to avoid a big remodel in the kitchen. Apart from really disliking the size (roasting pans don't fit and large cookie sheets barely fit) the oven performs well. The bottom drawer is a bit loose and seems cheap but again, functionally, the oven works well.

It was delivered but not set up because of my misunderstanding their delivery services and set-up. I have called WAYFAIR, and they told me to get in touch with GE for services. I have bought the Warranty for services by GE on-line, and will hopefully get them to set up the wall oven soon.

Cooking compartment is smaller than the oven it replaced, even though it is an exact size wall fit replacement. With the broiler on the top of the cooking compartment, it makes the oven space even smaller. Needed to purchase smaller cookie sheets to close oven door without existing cookie sheets touching either the door or back wall.

I do like this oven. It tells you when it has heated to the proper temperature. Only draw back is the timer. The timer will shut the oven off when it expires, but at times your cookies are just not done. You then have to turn it on all over again. Additionally, you can not use the timer for say your laundry or your child™™ reading time, unless you turn the oven on. This sure needs improvement

Very expensive compared to free standing stove almost double. Pot and pan drawer is very handy. Stove seems to be doing that it was built for. Have not tried all features but find timer in conjunction with oven is a little confusing. If oven is on and the timer is put on later, does the timer shut off oven when it expires?

Bought this oven to replace my 20year old ge gas oven. Yes, the fan made noise on the old oven as does this new oven too. However, within 2 minutes of starting the oven their is a cracking sound coming from the oven. I thought it was about to short out and so I called for service to have it checked out. I™™ve only had it for about 4 months. The repair person came and says that noise is normal. It is the motor. So in addition to the fan noise it makes a cracklings sound. It is very loud and sounds as if it will stop working at any time. My food cooks well but I also find it smaller then my last oven. I had to go out and buy new sheet pans. Overall just ok, but too loud.

We got this through American Home Shield and it's the only oven that fits in the pre-existing space that our previous 1950's oven was in. This oven is somehow smaller, however and we have to buy special 17" pans for it because nothing fits in it. It was installed new in 2015 and we had to call someone out for service within a year. It's now broken again in 2020 with the same issue: it won't light. The bolts are also rusting.

Gas wall ovens are hard to find, had to replace an existing gas wall oven and after extensive research it came down to 2 choices in my price range. The GE oven has more features and the inside of the oven actually has more room as the sides that hold the racks in place don't bump out too much taking away precious space.

so we get a new oven and from the start after it was put in the all. the control paneldoe not work. after 3 service calls still waiting. First time they cone and have to order the part. 2nd time wrong part. 3rd time need another part. lets hope #4 works.

So far I love it very much. It has great features with a drawer at the bottom of the oven instead of the broiler. It's my understanding that they no longer provide a broiler at the bottom of the oven. I'm getting used to it now and I really like it.
