Ive had the fridge for almost a month. Not sure about longevity but so far I love it. I have plenty of room in the fridge and the freezer. The ice maker after taking a day off so to freeze down makes plenty of ice especially in the Plus mode. I would like if it had split shelves but I just moved one down for extra gallon milk jugs. Still enough room.

Easy access and organization

It is a very recent purchase but Im very happy with it. If there is a down side it would have to be that I wish it had hidden handles. I like the clean look of hidden handles. I also have a small space and it would be beneficial to not have handles. It has nice organizational compartments and space.

Unexpected repairs

We like our French door LG refrigerator while its working. It was bought in April of 2021 and at the first of September 2023 it stopped cooling. After a 45+ minute call to LG on September 4 a repairman was scheduled for the 6th. He replaced the compressor and the condenser. The fridge still wouldnt cool so he came back on the 8th and quickly fixed it. It has been working well since then. I take too many things for granted and was reminded that having a refrigerator is a blessing even from the Lord. The warranty covered all the costs.

The refrigerator has been great EXCEPT for the fact that freezer and fridge suddenly stopped working after only 2 years. The compressor broke and had to be replaced. LGs repair service was not great either - we had to wait a week for the technician to actually come out and fix it. Then it still didnt work and he had to come back the next day to finally fix it. Other than that the size and layout is good and we havent had any other issues.

We were very happy with our refrigerator until 2 weeks ago when the refrigerator was not cooling. The freezer still works. Thing is we had a vacation planned and was hoping to have it fixed before we left. I couldnt get anyone to come look at it for 2 weeks right in the middle of our vacation So now we have to wait until we get back. I called customer service and all they could do is recommend a certified technician. No help. I dont think that I should be having any issues with a 2 year old refrigerator

Same Configuration but New Model is Much Improved

This new French door single bottom freezer drawer model replaced a similar 10+ year old LG refrigerator with a similar configuration. We loved the look and durability of our old LG but after 10+ years the door seals were leaking and were no longer repairable since the gaskets were out of stock and no longer produced. This new LG model has the same stainless look comparable overall capacity and similar layout but is slightly narrower in width. That said the newer model has been improved in several areas: The inside shelves are less deep but the inside door shelves are deeper which offers more flexibility in contents. The main shelves are still adjustable but do not catch spills quite like the older style. I also like being able to see the contents in the lower pull out drawers before having to open them up and the temperature and humidity control seems better. The overall cool air circulation is also improved. The door seals are also improved so I dont think well have any of our previous issues. This newer refrigerator also seems more efficient and quieter and Im sure it will give us many more years of reliable service.

I purchased my LG Refrigerator 2 Yrs ago and had to have the compressor replaced last week. We were without a refrigerator for almost 2 weeks waiting for a LG certified repairman.

Great Refrigerator

Excellent product. Major difference with one replaced but lasted 20 years+ still running but not efficiently like this model. Freezer is awesome warning if doors not closed just a little beep. Dont give 5 stars but Im very happy just hope it lasts

Disappointed it broke

I purchased this refrigerator and I like the design and function except it broke in 9 months. It took 3 weeks for LG to send a repair technician. The technician was friendly and did a good job. He found a manufacturing defect which he repaired. I hope it continues to function. We lost some food and some of my wifes insulin. LG has not offered to reimburse our loss.

Great Refrigerator with Much Space in a Tight Area

This french door refrigerator has incredible space in such a tight space. I was able to increase 3 cu. Ft. With this refrigerator that does not have water in the door. Ice maker works incredibly well especially with the turbo setting.

So much space with an icemaker that works

Once Installed this refrigerator was amazing The icemaker did its thing and was actually pretty quiet. The space due to the French doors is so much more than we had before but might also be because we dont have water in the door. What a great buy

My refrigerator is not even 3 years old and the compress went out. Talking to customer service for warranty I was on the phone for almost an hour. I am usually a fan of LG products but not in this case.

So far I have been very happy with my month old refrigerator. It is smaller than my last refrigerator but it still holds a lot of food. I like the design of the interior. I like that the noise that it makes when the door is open too long doesnt stay on continously but intermittently. Its also easy to clean.

Good and bad

I gave this a 3 because when it works we really like it. We had it two years and completely quit cooling. Compressor went out. It took a few visits but they did get it cooling again and did honor the warranty.

Looks Great and Much Easier to Use

Looks great in my kitchen and brightens up the space better than the black appliances did. This refrigerator added a lot of extra needed storage space and the freezer drawer on the bottom makes the french door refigerator space more easily accessible. Im very pleased with it. I replaced another top brand of appliances with new LG Frigde Stove and Dishwasher. I couldnt be happier.

Fridge does not cool Airing it out from rotten food I live in an ice chest. Fridge stopped cooling summer of 2023. 2 years old. Airing fridge out from spoiled frozen turkey.
