Dangerous Disappointing Despicable

Ok - first I only bought this because my oven died during an appliance shortage pandemic and all the other options Id researched and wanted were back ordered and I was desperate. The glass top cracked within A MONTH of owning it. The digital control panel in the front has had to be replaced not one not two but three times and when that happens you cant use the oven at all because the stupid screen controls all the functions. This was extremely problematic for me and my family - 2 little kids. If that wasnt enough now the burners light up by themselves as soon as many others here have indicated. Horribly dangerous and I am now 4 calls deep into my saga with LG customer service including three escalations of my situation to the Presidential team - what a joke Waiting since July 17 to get a response. Was told that this 5th repair on the range would cost $400. Thats their standard rate. Why would I spend $400 more on an oven that already cost me almost $2000??? And given its track record will probably have another seriously problematic issue in a matter of months. I hate to be wasteful and am concerned about the environmental impact but am just about ready to throw this oven out because the problems with it have gone from irritating to downright frightening. Is it so unreasonable to want your oven to.work? Without endangering your family? BUYER BEWARE I have told everyone who will listen about this experience. I hate to see customers taken advantage of and it makes me sick that LG is fine with their faulty products and laughable service. Ironic brand name Lifes Good more like Low Grade or Lousy Gear. Supported a small business when buying this range and sad to say they are also getting tons of customer issues with this dangerous product. LGs poor performance hurts not only individual families but small businesses reputations and bottom lines too.

Interesting concept for a stove- some adjustments

I was expecting a phenomenal performance from this product. I really do think it has potential however few obvious adjustments must be made. Firstly the cooktop: the rubber area around a hot cooktop is definitely a no no. Really where else are you going put your hot cookware than on the hot cooktop? Then the rubber gets well you know what is next Secondly how do you clean the knobs? The writings wash completely off whenever I try to clean it. Thirdly the cooktop is extremely fragile Cant drag anything across it.

Worst Oven Ever

This is the worst stove I have ever cooked on. The burners turn on if you brush against them. Too many times Ive walked by it and the burner was just on. I have had it for about two years then something in the computer broke. None of the burners work like they should. My only options are low and high. I called to see if it was still under warranty and it is not. It has ONE YEAR warranty. The product is garbage and they know it.

Knobs look pitiful

Looks good but the control panel is not backlit and I have to get on my knees to choose an option. Called customer service and was advised this model is not backlit. Why? What good is it if you cant see anything? The little words on the top left not sure what they are because I cannot see them. I have good vision just to clarify. Extreme fire hazard

Wish I would have reviewed this range more extensively because if so I would not have purchased it. Model LSEL6335FE is less than 4 months old and the stove top burners are malfunctioning to when you turn one knob on multiple burners come on high and is extremely hazardous to operate this way. Is very disappointing that the quality of this range is not near as good as its looks for the $1300 that it cost. Apparently Im in the same boat as a lot of consumers are at this moment with supposedly parts ordered and awaiting a service appointment with a 3rd party service company that is two and a half hours from where I live. LG needs to step up and make this right with everyone who bought this piece of crap fire hazard before it starts burning peoples houses down and possibly killing someone and am really surprised that there is not more regulation on these products before they are sold to the public. I usually like LG products and have bought them for years but now may be switching depending on how good LG handles my repair or replacement of this new unit. Lets all not forget the retailers that sell these appliances to they also have a duty to make sure they are selling quality products bought mine at Lowes. Any ways here I wait with no range to cook safely on until LG makes it right no big inconvenience to them because everyone else involved got their money . Do better by the consumer LG

I purchased this range 3 years ago from Beat Buy and it has been nothing but trouble since. The most recent event has been a loud sound coming from the inside when I turn the oven on. Sparks of fire with smoke coming from the back.. The burners are not turning on/off with the designated knob.

Ive had unresolved problems since I purchased this stove. Currently theres sparks of fire smoke coming from the back and the burners are not turning off with the knob. A technician was scheduled to come out between 1-5p which he never showed up. I called customer service to report then the technician texts me to inform me he would be at my home at 8pm. I bought this stove for my new home we were building. First time I reached over it to wipe the tile I did not notice it turned 2 burners on. My son reached over and did not notice it urned on. We had a cutting board on the top of the stove. He went outside came in later smelled something burning. It was the cutting board. The knobs are very dangerous and will cause a house fire. I set up an appointment with the service company and he never showed. When he talked to me he said the company wouldnt do anything anyways so it was a waste of his time. When he didnt show I called and know they are saying its past the warranty time. Not my fault he didnt show up.

Really loved this oven until the glass shattered There are three panes of glass on the door and the middle pane shattered after we used it one night. We are about 2 months over having it a year. I would understand if something hit it or fell on it but it is the middle pane so nothing can even touch it Disappointed. Contacted LG customer service and they said they would push me through to the presidential level but not sure how long that will take.

I bought 2 LG Refrigerators and a LG Electric Stove in the last 3 years. Compressor went bad on one refrigerator and electric range caught on fire. LG did repar the compressor after extending the warranty. They did not help with the stove. I did eventually get a call from the Presidents Office after 5 weeks. They could not help as I already had it fixed by a LG certified repair man for $350 and would not reimburse me. Awful service.

We have enjoyed the range/oven. Ive convection oven automatically adjusts the temperature to meet the regular oven and the air fry works pretty well especially for reheating meals. The thing to watch out for is the knobs for the range are supposed to match your burner layout. We have a mismatched knob and support is taking a long time and multiple contact attempts to get this rectified

Ive owned this unit for about a month now it was very easy to install and get adjusted to fit the counter. This unit cooks really well but you will need to read the instructions on how to use it so you can get the most out of it. So far we are loving all the features that we have on the unit specially the WiFi it lets us know when the preheating is done and even when the oven needs cleaning. So far we love it.

Purchased 2 months ago the features are great but it cooks too hot. If my recipe calls for 350 I have to cook it on 325. Also when I turn the knob to Bake I cannot set the temperature at all until I turn it past Bake back to Bake. Very frustrating

Great oven with many settings including built in air fryer and knock- knock oven light option. A few cons is that the stainless finish scratches if pan slides across it the front knobs make it challenging at times to see what burner is on.

I bought this from Lowes a couple of weeks ago and just got around to using it. The control panel is NOT backlit so it is virtually impossible to read the functions. Who in the world at LG approved this design?? Secondly the operation of the control knobs works exactly opposite of what the owners manual says i.e. turns knobs counterclockwise vs. clockwise or vice versa. I refuse to buy a flashlight to use when Im cooking. Heading to Lowes tomorrow to start a return. Beautiful looking stove but completely impractical.

SMART WI-FI ENABLED PROBAKE CONVECTION INSTAVIEW ELECTRIC SLIDE-IN RANGE WITH AIR FRY has almost too many options and I will never use them all but having an air fryer option built in has saved having an extra appliance on the counter and gets used often. Not having the dials on the back gives the appliance gives a noticeable clean look in the room. Easy to quickly clean inside with water and 10 minutes heat when its only slightly soiled. I use the wifi feature mostly to let me know when preheating or timer is done shows up on my iPhone. The knock - knock feature is a nice option to quickly turn on the oven light and turns off automatically. I dont like how easily the stainless steal trim in front of the burners scratch when pots are passed over it. The indicators on the dials that show which size burner is heating are too small and many times I turn on the wrong one. I think the dial should be lighted when a burner is on and a better indicator to show you which way to turn the dial for the different sized heating element.

Excellent product We especially like the built in air fryer and convection oven. I Like the LG line. We have all LG products in our kitchen.

Have owned this oven for 2.5 years. In that time the knobs have turned on repeatedly with barely a bump very dangerous. Now the heating element is out. Oven should last at least 10 years not less than 3. For the money paid this oven was not worth the price.

Bought this in February. Works great until glass top cracked from placing a pot on top of it. The warranty will not cover it. Dont bother with extended warranty Repair came out to inspect and submitted pictures again. Its been a week since and still not heard a word

Board died after 2 years.

Main board died after 2 years. Expensive to replace. Of course out of warranty. I wouldnt recommend this oven at all.

Knobs loose writing for settings

I bought this a month ago after researching a lot of electric ranges . As of now I am super happy with it . Very even baking and convection is great I love the instant view . The reviews are true that the knobs go on if bumped into but I just lock them so easy to do and problem solved . I have not as of yet used the airfryer . This replaced an lg range that was 9 years old and still working well . The blue interior is beautiful . It looks very high end in my kitchen . Hoping to have it for years to come and as of now am very happy with my purchase

Too easy to scratch

Look good for about 1 day it is too easy to scratch and considering that one use it 3 times per day for decades is not holding up to well- I have my for 2 weeks it scratch at the first use

I had my oven for one year and all along I so need a backlight to the controls why does this oven not have one. Get a flash lite. We are to often hitting the knobs and turning on the oven by accident. When you turn off the stove top you better be careful as its always just a black top. Never connected the blue tooth function. I like keeping my phone safe for security reasons. I told 50 or more people that I sprayed easy off in my self cleaning oven and it destroyed the enamel paint job and everybody was surprised as I was. I read the manual after I did this and yes it has a small note that says do not use. Maybe they could of made the oven more guy proof? Chatted with LG and they said I am responsible and gave me the repair people to call. They were no help like he said we can replace the inside oven side but not the bottom. Its one piece I said and sent pictures as he requested. I never got a call back.

It does not flush with the back wall due to the power cord and this should been designed better. The on-off buttons turn on and off by bumping into them.

HORRIBLE I am in tears almost every day. I am a baker. I havent been able to make my cookies since I got the oven. They are always underdone. Ive adjusted the time temperature position of cookie tray and they come out practically burnt on top with raw oozing dough in the center. Pizzas are raw dough and overdone on top. Service guy came out and all checked out. Heres the elementary issue...there is NO BOTTOM HEATING ELEMENT The oven depends on the fan to circulate the heat. Well heat rises and the thermometer is at the top right of the oven which explains why the food is unevenly cooked. This is a poor design. LG does not stand behind their products and simply doesnt care. Ive been baking with my 21 year old oven just fine and got rid of it for an upgraded kitchen. I cannot believe this oven is so bad. LG says they will follow up but they dont. I call again and they tell me the case was closed but they hadnt told me. They put in a second escalated request and said Id hear within 48 hour its been another week. I sent a message to the president as that was an option on the site but no response there either. In this day and age I cannot believe I may be stuck with an oven I cannot use. I cant cook or bake for my family. I think about it all the time and cry. All the money they make they can at least trade this for another model one with a bottom element. I had no idea an oven would be made without one Never again will I buy LG. They simply dont back the product. I am not the only person with these issues I bought all new LG kitchen appliances and regret it deeply. My old stuff was much better

How do you check to see if the oven is heated to the set termperature? I do not think it is as hot as it is set for taking too long to bake..
